This whiskey’s a winner

Before you get up in arms about my whiskey taste, I’m talking about how this Jack Daniel’s project led to my first National ADDY Award win.

Each year, the beloved Tennessee-based distillery hosts an invitational barbecue, welcoming pit masters from all over the planet to showcase their craft and share a glass of the good stuff. This being the 35th anniversary, we decided to take a trip through the event poster archives and dust off a few undeniable hits (headlines) for the annual series. Then, with new, hand-carved sketches and responsibility lines (my favorite part), they were ready to be woodblock printed and replayed for the world.
